PAKISTAN


These are the Bridal dresses of Pakistan. Usually brides here wear "Shararas" and "Ghagras" (these are basically long skirts Heavily embroidered with colorful threads and beads.

This is a "Chunri " usually worn by girls on marriage ceremonies (Basically in "Mehendi" and "Mayoon" and other formal events.
These are the groom's dresses there is usually a "Sherwani" or "Shalwar Kameez" which are usually embroidered with thread.
The Sindhi embroidery is admired all over Pakistan as well as in foreign countries. The dresses of both men and women are colorfully embroidered in silk thread. Even for their usually daily wear, most women wear dresses embroidered heavily in beads, thread and mirror work.
